Frustrated with the challenges of fundraising amid low turnout from the public at the local American Cancer Society Relay For Life event, the first annual Rock For Life was started in 2016 as a way to bring the cause, and the fundraising, to the public in a relaxed, informal, and enjoyable environment. Where the people can raise money for the cause simply by doing something they already enjoy.
